Description and purpose

Eris-6.6G1-LE is a single-phase CHISAGE ESS hybrid inverter for solar power systems, battery storage and backup power. The model is designed for 48 V battery systems and is suitable for private homes, offices, shops, warehouses, small businesses and off-grid sites.

The inverter combines solar panels, batteries, the utility grid and a backup generator into one energy system. This solution helps use solar energy during the day, store surplus power in batteries and keep essential equipment running during grid outages.

On-grid and Off-grid operation

Eris-6.6G1-LE supports both grid-connected and off-grid operation. In On-grid mode, the inverter works together with the utility grid, solar panels and batteries. It helps use solar generation for powering loads, charging the battery system and reducing dependence on the grid.

In Off-grid mode, the inverter can support site power without the utility grid by using energy from solar panels, batteries or a backup generator. This is important for homes, offices, shops, warehouses and other sites that need backup or autonomous power during outages.

For autonomous systems, Eris-6.6G1-LE supports parallel operation of up to 20 inverters, which allows system capacity to be scaled. It also has a separate AC port for a diesel generator, which can be used as an additional energy source.

Solar input and MPPT

Two MPPT trackers allow flexible solar panel connection and efficient power generation in different lighting conditions. Maximum PV input power is up to 10560 W, maximum solar array voltage is up to 500 V, and the MPPT operating range is 60-425 V.

Backup power and off-grid operation

The 5 ms transfer time helps maintain load power without a noticeable pause. In off-grid mode, the inverter supports peak output up to two times the rated power for 10 seconds, which is important for equipment with high starting current.
