MARS-12G2-LE is a three-phase CHISAGE ESS Mars series hybrid inverter for solar power systems, 48 V battery storage, backup power and off-grid sites. The model is rated at 12 kW and is suitable for private houses with a three-phase grid, offices, shops, warehouses, production facilities and commercial systems.
The inverter combines solar panels, batteries, the utility grid and a backup diesel generator into one energy system. This solution helps use solar energy, store it in batteries, support power during outages and reduce dependence on the external grid.
MARS-12G2-LE supports both grid-connected and off-grid operation. In On-grid mode, the inverter works together with the utility grid, solar panels and batteries, helping power loads, charge the battery and use solar generation more efficiently.
In Off-grid mode, the inverter can support site power without the utility grid by using energy from solar panels, batteries or a diesel generator. EPS output is provided for backup power and On-grid / Off-grid mode switching.
For autonomous operation, up to 20 inverters can be connected in parallel, and different power inverters can also be paralleled. This allows the system to be scaled for large three-phase loads.
The solar input section is designed for up to 18 000 W PV input power. Two MPPT trackers and a 2+1 string layout allow flexible solar panel connection. MPPT range 200-700 V and PV input voltage 650 V with 160-800 V range must be considered when designing solar strings.
The inverter includes protections important for safe operation of a solar energy system: PV input lightning protection, anti-islanding protection, PV string reverse polarity protection, insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring, output over current protection, output short protection and output over voltage protection.
